downtown Salem Oregon
every 3rd Saturday evening from 6 to 9 pm.
Welcome to Pair Blossom
Mary and Russell's music almost defies description as the husband-and-wife team come from extremely different musical backgrounds.
Mary was a symphony violinist with a 34-year career in the North Carolina and Texas orchestras; classically trained with a Masters and Master of Fine Arts in music.
Russell came from the time-honored traditions of coffee shop combos and bar band rock 'n' roll, playing guitar as frontman for his groups and sideman for others from Santa Cruz to Seattle.
They have been working together for nearly 12 years. Their music has evolved into a hybrid of original pop style music and re-imagined classical music with their own tasty spin.
